It needs serious editing. The grammar is so poor, it detracts from the storyline and there is nothing separating the individual speaker's point-of-view. It is very confusing when the story switches from Lauren's pov to Ian's and back again. If written in 3rd person, it might have been a better read. With editing, this would deserve more stars because the story has potential.

There isn't a great deal of in depth character development, but the characters are not flat either.
Ian meets Lauren when he's tracking some bad shifters that need taken out. She's his mate and She gets hurt pretty bad by the bad guys. He saves her eventually offs the bad guys and they start a family together.
Ian is hot on the trail of the bad guy and along the way he finds his mate. Can he catch the bad guy and save his girl and get his happily ever after. An engaging read from beginning to end.
This is the first book by this author and was so well written I could see and hear every fight and sex scene. You are put right into the middle of all the action and you’ll love it. I did. I haven’t come across many bear shifters stories and this one was hot. I am so excited to hear she is writing a second book. This was clearly a five star well thought out story.
Wow, this is a wonderful debut. I loved this story about Ian and his mate Lauren. The road to their happiness is bumpy, but their love sees them through in the end. I was kept on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next. No spoilers because I think everyone should read this debut bear shifter from PA Vachon. I can’t wait to read the next book to see what happens with Trevor.
I love shifter romance, and this one is a quite good one, I would have not rushed it, taking more time describing Ian and Lauren, taking a chance to make this love exploding slowly and powerfully. It’s a good theme and a well constructed plot just too fast in its development.
This book is well written with plenty of action, romance, and family loyalty. I honestly could not out it down i was hooked from the very start of the book. I will not give away any spoilers but this will make you smile and root for the good guys. What's not to like sexy shifters, fierce heroine, magic, love, and family a delightful combination. Well worth the price in my opinion you will not be disappointed.
